Well, they are quite squishy… Urrts, you hath brought the hell fire of the mighty pissed-off mama giant! And we all know the saying: “Hell hath no fury than…” I’m gonna go hide now, Keltan’s a beast, but this lady is making this old man VERY nervous!
She’s got a very determined mindset. She learns and applies techniques quite thoroughly. First, the ways of physical love, then the pursuit of Giant knowledge. She’s been 2 for 2 so far. Now she wants to learn to make urtt paste and jelly. Anyone care to wager how well she’s going to show out in this new endeavor?
I wonder if there might be any giant sized weapons for her too? In practical terms, many upscaled weapons would be very difficult to craft or forge and largely unnecessary when a simple bag of rocks and perhaps a sling makes a giant a highly mobile piece of medieval artillery. But I like a previous suggestion I’ve seen from Shadiversity for one option, which would be an upscaled scythe, for literally mowing down smaller opponents.

In practical terms, simply upscaling many human weapons would not work well, due to difficulties in crafting and forging them, and issues with greater weight being needed in proportion to increased length etc making them rather more clunky to use. But a simple bag of rocks and perhaps a sling would transform a giant into a highly mobile piece of pseudo-medieval artillery. And I also like a suggestion I’ve seen from Shadiversity about an upscaled agricultural scythe for simply mowing down smaller opponents.
I’m quite sure there’s a full armory that we haven’t seen yet. Keep in mind, they never stop growing, Keltans mace/morning star would have gotten too small over time for the earlier giants. These Urrts have no clue the extent of weapons and armor that is just begging to be used! Heck, if she’s pissed enough she could break off a tree and use it as club if she didn’t have other options lol.
OH. $#!±. Thing is, these two like to help the harvest and plow the fields. However they apply these techniques to the urrts, it ain’t gonna be pretty (for the urrts, that is).
I’ve found that on here, as on a lot of the webcomics’ comment sections that I frequent, it interprets hard returns as soft returns, and consecutive returns as a single return.
I’m imagining:
Liri swinging a scythe. She starts wading into the Urrt lines, sweeping the blade back and forth while harvesting their tiny, shriveled little souls, maybe singing a hymnal of some sort, as they are believers of Thrasu (regardless of how the bigots try to deny them).
