Y’know, times like this are part of why I love this comic so much. I mean, we all know and love Zona for her free spirit, her humongous strength, her boundless enthusiasm, her supreme fighting ability and her utter joyfulness… and then she goes and improvises a superb speech that’s both extremely surprising from a front-line soldier and totally in character.
Also, I love that we are seeing (unless I be mistaken) the first sign of Pontagar’s redemption into a decent fellow. (More on next page, where only Benelek beats him to hailing Zona.)
