  1. LOVE IT! Let’s face it. With a little majik, horses vs cycles ain’t THAT much of a difference, and think of the shock and awe of 400 Harleys screaming with Erogenians riding them whooping out a battle cry… Opening day of Cycle Week… 😎

Chara’s a bit overwhelmed by Zona, Tula, and Ipola. They’re big personalities and not always conscious about it. She’ll get herself sorted out soon enough.

  2. Well, not just Harleys methinks, the scouts surely will use enduros, right? And for the magickers and archers they need sidecars, or trikes?

  3. Holy Shit, that’s a LOT of chrome!

  4. Wow, Chera and Zonn have really gotten new looks.

  5. The spelling of her name changes between the second and third panels. I’m assuming the spelling in the list of characters below the comic is the correct one.

  6. I feex.

  7. NICE bike, I doubt Mentl will conjure up a fleet of bikes for them to ride on, there’s no time to train up hundreds of people on motorcycle riding in a matter of hours, so I expect it’ll be horses they follow him on. Either way, coming through his portal onto the battle field will scare the CRAP outta a whole bunch of Urrts, and make Gorhash wish he wore his brown pants to this. I’d love to see Mentl start chanting, Gor-boy wad up into a basketball, and with the space jam music playing in the background, Mentl hit a 3-pointer with a bloody ball…

  8. Vroooom is good because it’s impossible to translate the heavy rumbling sound a of a Harley-Davidson to print.

    1. Yeah, the throaty rumble and the “pip, pip, POP, pip” sound isn’t done justice in text. My son bought a retired Harley police cruiser, 1500+cc engine, that horse makes your insides tremble lol. Damn, I miss being able to ride…

  9. @Lora
Aye. Zonn doesn’t seems to have aged. He just looks a bit like Charles Dance, now.

Chera, though, in some shots, looks way more like 43, 45 years old. There is some je-ne-sais-quoi to her facial expressions that makes me think about that.

    1. *Doesn’t SEEM. D’oh!!

  10. Remember, Chara has been there since Zonn freed them all, and started with the basic skills even then, so she was an apprentice to a shaman at some point before their desert ordeal. With Zona’s age, 30-40 is probably the right age range for Chara. My, these Erogenians age muy gracefully, Ipola being a seriously prime example.

  11. I noticed something… Zona and Mentle have their gold torcs (woot!), Ipola has a silver torc. I wonder who wears her match? I don’t see one on Zonn…

    1. Ipola may be still wearing hers from before Zonn disappeared so long ago, Zonn may have either lost his or took it off because he felt he could never return to honor it.

    2. Torcs are the sign of belonging to a tribe, AFAIR. Silver/gold chains are for couples. And the bronze one Mentl got Zona early on was worn around the ankle I think, but I’m not sure if this is the only place for it.

  12. Looks like the Home page link can use an update. It is bringing up the previous page

    1. Hit refresh, the page isn’t updating like it should. That’s the website, not the Dev’s fault.

  13. Looks like the Home page link can use an update. It is bringing up the previous page .

  14. Never mind, I went back through the story and he has his, plus it’s the bracelets that signify a union. The torcs are a mark of clan status and acceptance. With Ipola and Zonn being the leaders of two different tribes, though, there may be some issues if they decide to make a formal declaration and vows (competing loyalties and whatnot). Not that anyone in their right mind would challenge them….

  15. Well, now that they are leaving their current desert land, I doubt anyone would complain about moving to a more comfortable zone. Fewer deadly snakes, bugs, whatever that dragon worm thing was, to an area where a single sword/spear can take care of most problems. sure it’ll be cold during the winters, but that is manageable.

  16. I’m also surprised they have 400 warriors in the Sun Tribe; didn’t think it was that big.
